St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane Graduate Registered Nurse Program – February 2027

Location: St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane

12 months (52 weeks) maximum term part-time contract; February 2027 commencement!

To support your transition from novice to confident and competent Professional Nurse, you’ll be guided by a dedicated team of Clinical Nurses (Education), Experienced Preceptors and the Graduate Program Coordinator. Together, they’ll assist in providing the structure, mentorship, and encouragement you need to thrive.

What works for us





- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse prior to program commencement
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
- Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)

Program Details

Our Graduate Registered Nurse Program commences 2nd February 2027 with completion in February 2028 offering a 52 week, fixed term, 0.84 FTE position. For those interested in an acute care specialties, positions are available at our Northside Facility. Additionally, our Northside site offers transition programmes into: Critical Care (ICU) Nursing, Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL), or Perioperative for consideration after completion of your graduate year, supporting your continued growth and career progression.
