Key responsibilities

- conducting appropriate speech, language and communication assessments, analysing results and developing transparent and practical recommendations.
- planning, delivering and evaluating interventions according to identified student needs.
- supporting the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), visual supports and other communication systems where appropriate.
- building the knowledge and capability of staff to understand and respond effectively to diverse communication needs.

What you need

- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality speech pathology services within an educational setting, including assessment, analysis, reporting, consultation with families and staff, and the development of practical recommendations that support student learning, communication, participation and engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in evidence-based speech pathology practice, including the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of individual, small-group and classroom-based supports and interventions.
