Expressions of Interest - Freelance Videographer/Photographer - Brisbane

Film Focus Productions is an Australian production studio specialising in photography, videography and creative content for a wide range of clients.

We work across corporate and brand content, events, headshots, lifestyle and food photography, charity and government projects, and more. With the business expanding, we're looking to build a network of trusted freelance photographers and videographers across Australia.

The Opportunity

We're currently seeking expressions of interest from Brisbane-based freelance photographers, videographers and photographer/videographer hybrids who we can call on as projects arise.

This is not a position for an immediate project or ongoing employment . Instead, we're building a preferred freelancer network so that when Film Focus has a project in Brisbane, we have a shortlist of experienced local operators we can contact regarding availability.

Most projects will be shoot-only , with footage and/or photographs supplied back to our team in Dubai for editing and post-production. Depending on the project, we may also engage freelancers to manage both the shoot and the edit.

We're particularly interested in people who are:

- Experienced working independently and confidently with clients on location
- Comfortable shooting both photography and video, or highly experienced in either discipline
- Able to consistently produce polished, skilled work
- Familiar with corporate, commercial and branded content environments
- Comfortable working to a brief and following a client's direction
- Reliable, communicative and able to meet agreed deadlines
- Equipped with their own professional camera, lighting and audio equipment




- Able to represent Film Focus professionally when working with our clients

What to Include in Your EOI

Please provide:

1. Portfolio

Links to your portfolio, website, showreel or relevant examples of your work. We're particularly interested in:

- Corporate and brand videos
- Events
- Headshots and portraiture
- Lifestyle photography
- Food and beverage
- Interviews / talking heads
- General commercial content

2. Rates

Please provide your standard rates for:

- Full-day shooting
- Half-day shooting
- Hourly shooting
- Editing (hourly)

Please specify whether your shooting rates include your standard camera, lighting and audio equipment.

3. Gear

A brief list of your primary camera, lens, lighting and audio equipment.

4. Location & Availability

Please confirm:

- That you are Brisbane-based
- Your typical travel radius
- Whether you have your own vehicle and are comfortable travelling to shoot locations
- Your general availability / typical notice required for bookings
- Your typical turnaround time for supplying footage and photographs after a shoot

5. Business Details

Please confirm:

- ABN
- Whether you hold public liability insurance
- Whether you are available to work as an independent contractor

How It Will Work

We'll review submissions and build a preferred freelancer database for Brisbane. When a suitable project comes up, we'll contact relevant freelancers to check availability, provide the project brief and discuss the specific scope and rate for that job.

There is no guarantee of ongoing or minimum work as part of this expression of interest. We're simply looking to build relationships with talented, reliable people we can call on as opportunities arise.
