The company operates across the healthcare sector, leveraging market insights, healthcare expertise, and commercial expertise to expand access to better care solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, patient benefit, and sustainable business growth. MAYES Healthcare supports healthcare organisations through consulting, commercialisation, operational support, and healthcare innovation services.
MAYES Healthcare is proud to be supporting our client partner, Anthia Life Sciences, as they establish and grow their presence in the Australian women’s health market
This is an opportunity to join a specialist field team at an important stage of growth, working across fertility, IVF, reproductive medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, primary care and connected pharmacy pathways. You will engage with healthcare professionals in a qualified, compliant and clinically credible way, helping to support access, education and market development across Anthia Life Science's Women’s Health portfolio.
About the role
As a Specialist Medical Representative, you will take ownership of an assigned territory and utilise your strong relationships with fertility and IVF clinics, obstetricians, gynaecologists, targeted Women’s Health-focused GPs, hospital stakeholders and relevant pharmacies. You will develop practical territory plans, deliver approved customer engagement activity,
maintain accurate CRM records and provide field insight that supports confident decision making by MAYES Healthcare and Anthia Life Science's team. This role is a fixed term contract of 24 months
What makes this role different
- You will be part of a focused Women’s Health build, not simply maintaining an established territory.
- You will work across specialist, targeted Women’s Health GP’s, hospital and pharmacy pathways where patient flow and stakeholder mapping matter.
- You will contribute to the development of a credible IVF and fertility facing field capability.
- You will have clear objectives, practical support and the opportunity to shape territory execution from the ground up.
What you will be doing
- Calling on approved healthcare professional customers across your assigned territory.
- Utilising and developing strong relationships with fertility specialists, IVF clinicians, obstetricians, gynaecologists, Women’s Health GPs, hospital stakeholders and pharmacies.
- Executing compliant sales, education and territory activity using approved materials and messages.
- Understanding local patient pathways, referral networks, clinic structures and customer priorities.
- Maintaining disciplined CRM, territory planning, follow-up and reporting.
- Sharing accurate field insights, competitor activity and market feedback with the broader team.
- Completing all required product, compliance, pharmacovigilance and field readiness training.
What we are looking for
- Experience and proven success in specialist medical, fertility & IVF hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences sales in Australia.
- Women’s Health, fertility, IVF, reproductive medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology or closely aligned specialist experience will be strongly regarded.
- A confident, professional and ethical communication style with the ability to engage specialist clinicians and multidisciplinary clinic teams.
- Strong territory discipline, including planning, prioritisation, customer follow up and accurate CRM use.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, patient focus and personal accountability.
- Current Australian driver licence, Australian working rights and willingness to travel.
What you will gain
- A meaningful role in Women’s Health with a clear focus on fertility, IVF and reproductive healthcare.
- The opportunity to join at a formative stage and help develop a specialist field presence.
- Structured onboarding, product and compliance training.
- Support from MAYES Healthcare and collaboration with Anthia Life Science’s stakeholders.
- A professional, outcomes focused team environment with clear expectations and practical support.
- Competitive remuneration package, including base salary, superannuation, performance incentives and tools of trade to be confirmed.
