The Practice Nurse will provide patient care in areas of immunisations, baby check, IV Iron and other medicine administration, ear syringing, wound care and any other clinical duties in collaboration with the clinicians in the practice. The Practice Nurse will contribute to clinical documentation, quality improvement activities, and a culture of safety and respect for all patients.

Key responsibilities

- Provide patient care in immunisations, baby check, IV Iron and other medicine administration
- Perform ear syringing and wound care
- Oversee Infection control measures to ensure the practice adheres to the highest standard of Infection Control as set out by the RACGP Standards
- Work collaboratively with clinicians on Chronic Disease Management plans and Health Assessments
- Conduct patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and self-management
- Coordinate care with physicians, allied health professionals, and community services
