Your OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to work within the Portfolio Coordination Office, supporting a complex and high-profile infrastructure portfolio. You will work within established financial management, procurement and governance frameworks to ensure accurate financial information, effective financial processes and quality reporting that supports informed decision-making across the division.You will be part of a collaborative team that supports the delivery of major infrastructure programs and provides critical financial and portfolio management support to achieve successful project outcomes.Your StrengthsWe design roles around strengths and are seeking someone who demonstrates:- Strong financial administration skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes.- Analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify issues, monitor trends and contribute to solutions.- A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.- Relationship-building skills, fostering productive and professional stakeholder partnerships.- Sound governance and accountability, ensuring activities align with policy, procedures and legislative requirements.- Explicit written and verbal communication skills, supporting effective reporting and advice.Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:- Deliver financial services including accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, invoice processing and reconciliations in accordance with departmental requirements.- Monitor and maintain accurate financial records,



identify discrepancies and support the resolution of financial issues.- Provide advice and guidance on financial management and procurement processes, escalating complex issues where appropriate.- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, budget submissions, briefing materials, presentations and correspondence through analysis and research.- Support budget management, procurement and portfolio control activities through project administration, record management and reporting.- Assist in the preparation and coordination of information required for program reporting, investment proposals and capital appropriation activities.- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the timely delivery of team priorities.Why Join Us?At DSDIP, we are proud to be State Shapers, delivering infrastructure that supports Queensland's future growth and prosperity.
