About the role

RSM Australia is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Accountant to join our South West team, with the flexibility to be based in Bunbury, Busselton or Manjimup. You'll be part of a close-knit regional team within a national firm, offering clear career pathways, hands-on client exposure, and a genuinely supportive culture. What you’ll do

- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting work papers
- Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Assist with BAS, IAS, and other tax compliance obligations
- Provide tax advice across areas including GST, CGT, FBT, and income tax
- Contribute to general business advisory work and client engagement
- Work closely with Partners and support junior team members
- Apply your understanding of the business environment and client industries to deliver practical, client-focused solutions

About you

What you’ll bring

- A degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major CA or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, client-focused approach
