About the Role
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a pivotal role in executing our inventory strategy by combining replenishment, supply and demand planning into a seamless process. Your work will ensure inventory levels meet demand forecasts while optimising stock turnover and minimising excess inventory.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract based in our National Support Office in Burnley VIC.
What’s Involved
- Analyse market trends and historical data to forecast product demand.
- Collaborate with merchandise, marketing and supply chain teams to align inventory planning activities.
- Review and approve purchase orders and store replenishment recommendations.
- Manage purchase orders and supplier performance to support inventory outcomes.
- Act as a key liaison across merchandising functions to improve inventory efficiency.
- Prepare and present inventory and stock performance reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.
Who We're Looking For
You’ll thrive in a quick-paced environment and enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team. You are analytical, solutions-focused and adaptable,
with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability.
- Understanding of merchandise and inventory strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- 2-3 years' experience in inventory management within a retail environment.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Experience using planning systems, with Blue Yonder preferred.
