As a Statutory Planer, you will contribute to a positive and high performing team focused on providing statutory planning services that realise the Darebin community’s vision for a more equitable, vibrant and connected municipality.

The position is responsible for town planning functions and providing clear, prompt advice to the public and Council staff on matters relating to the use and development of land. As a Band 5 role, the position focuses on providing day-to-day customer service and processing easy to average complexity statutory planning approvals, while refining and developing the incumbent’s professional knowledge and skills.

About the role:

The Statutory Planner supports the delivery of high quality land use and development in a progressive and customer first organisation. In this role, you will work across a diverse range of projects ranging from unit developments, heritage proposals, industrial and commercial developments and applications abutting our creek environments.
