Woodford Hotel is a family-owned business offering 10 motel rooms, alongside a busy retail and on-premise hospitality operation with a strong food business. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality skilled who is passionate about quality food, outstanding guest experiences, strong team leadership, and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team.

Oversee front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance operations.

Maintain excellent standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation, and safety.

Manage staffing, rosters, training, performance, and recruitment.

Monitor budgets, costs, occupancy, revenue, and operational performance.

Ensure compliance with licensing, employment, health and safety, and food-hygiene requirements.

Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and the hotel owners or senior management.





Identify opportunities to increase bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

About you

Previous hotel management or senior hospitality experience.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance targets.

A calm, practical approach in a fast-paced environment.

High standards of customer service and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Relevant hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential.
