Working within the complex road safety and policing landscape, the role integrates data, intelligence, information and research from multiple sources to assess sustained and emerging issues, trends and risks.

Key responsibilities

- As the successful applicant, you will be working as part of the team supporting the Tasking and Coordination Unit to support the deployment of centralised road policing resources.
- As the successful applicant, you will be working closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including frontline police members, intelligence practitioners and road safety partner agencies.
- The role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the intelligence and analytical functions amid the ever-changing road safety and policing landscape.
- Contribute to the Unit's proactive scanning program,



through leading the development of priority road policing portfolios, and proactively monitoring the road policing setting to maintain situational awareness.

What you need

- The successful applicant is required to complete the modules of a Victoria Police approved Intelligence Program relevant to the role and qualify within 18 months from enrolment.
- Drives innovation and continuous improvement by identifying better ways of working, sharing ideas and improving processes.
- Supports capability development by applying expertise, collaborating with others and promoting effective use of data and analytical tools.
