The opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Dispatch & Warehouse Coordinator to join our fast‑paced transport and logistics operation. This hands‑on role combines dispatch, warehouse, freight coordination, and customer service responsibilities, supporting both domestic and international freight movements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring freight is processed efficiently, drivers are effectively coordinated, and customer service expectations are consistently met.

You will:

- Coordinate and dispatch domestic and international freight movements.
- Scan, sort, and process inbound and outbound freight.
- Create and manage consignments using transport management systems and manual documentation where required.
- Lodge and collect freight from airlines, freight terminals, and distribution centres.
- Process export and import shipments, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Plan and communicate daily delivery schedules and route requirements.
- Monitor driver movements, delivery performance, and compliance requirements.
- Review driver logs, working hours, and equipment availability.
- Liaise with customers, drivers,



airlines, and operational teams to ensure service commitments are achieved.
- Support warehouse operations, including pallet wrapping, freight consolidation, and stock movement.
- Assist with urgent, same‑day, and time‑critical deliveries when required.
- Maintain accurate records across dispatch and warehouse systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.

About You:

- Previous experience in transport, logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or freight forwarding operations.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international freight processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Experience using transport management or dispatch software.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive and team‑focused attitude.
- A current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one) is highly desirable.
- Certificate II or III in Warehousing & Distribution, Logistics, or a related field will be highly regarded.
