Advanced Level Clinical Coder (Health Manager Lvl 1) - Liverpool Hospital - Perm PT / Temp PT

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Coder with a strong track record of coding excellence in a tertiary healthcare environment.

Technical skills will be assessed during the interview process. (2 hour Coding Test.)

Selection Criteria

Current extensive clinical coding experience using ICD-10-AM within a tertiary hospital setting.

Extensive experience across a broad range of specialties with evidence of meeting KPIs for accuracy & throughput as set within SWSLHD Advanced coder coding competencies.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills with high level attention to detail.

Proven ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage time and resources to meet pre-determined targets and deadlines.

Ability to analyse, abstract, interpret and report information in clinical coding forums.

Enthusiastic attitude and demonstrated ability to work both independently, within a team and be flexible in a changing work environment.

Demonstrated skill in the use of computerized PAS and record control systems, 3M Codefinder software, PICQ and a sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
