Cedars Christian College is a vibrant and innovative learning community that is dedicated to leading our students forward throughout the most important years of their life.

Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 independent private school with approximately 800 students located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra. Our commitment to education begins by surrounding our students in a safe and trusted environment, where Christian values are evident in all we do.

We are currently inviting applications for the following positions, commencing in January 2027.

Primary Teachers

Permanent and a temporary full-time teaching positions are available for suitably qualified and experienced teachers commencing in 2027.

Key Requirements:

Solid curriculum knowledge and demonstrated effective teaching practice





Ability to structure lessons that support students’ academic progress and wellbeing

Ability to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments, including developing and implementing learning and behaviour management plans

Ability to integrate a Christian worldview and Biblical truth into teaching practice

Flexibility to teach across Kindergarten to Year 6

A relational approach and willingness to partner with teachers, students and parents

Commitment to working as part of a collaborative staff team

Ability to encourage and develop students through extracurricular activities

Positive contribution to the culture of the College community

Applicants must be committed Christians, active in their own church and are also required to provide a Working with Children Check (WWCC) Number.
