In addition, the role works closely with the Aboriginal Workforce Unit contributing to specialist advice to stakeholders at all levels on Aboriginal cultural issues, employment related policies and legislation that impact on the Victorian Aboriginal community.

Key responsibilities

- A key focus of this role will be delivering and contributing to the Youth Justice Wirkara Kulpa Strategy 2022- 2032.
- This role is based in the Melbourne CBD head office and will require regular travel across regional Victoria to build partnerships in workplaces and with Aboriginal Community organisations.
- Undertake the full recruitment lifecycle including job briefing, advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, background checking and offer management.
- Provide best practice advice for Aboriginal employment and contribute to the Youth Justice W irkara Kulpa Strategy 2022- 2032.
