As part of an experienced protection team, you’ll provide discreet and professional security support to private clients, individuals and families across a range of environments.

The role is suited to individuals who enjoy operationally focused work, can adapt to changing client requirements and maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and situational awareness. You’ll support day-to-day protection requirements, client movements, residential security, events and travel while using intelligence briefings and ongoing risk assessments to inform security operations.

This is a varied role requiring flexibility across routine operations and periods of increased activity. Operators must be comfortable working as part of a team, responding to changing priorities and conducting themselves as a trusted extension of the client’s household or organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide discreet physical protection for clients, families, property and assets.

Identify and assess potential risks to individuals, residences and property.

Conduct dynamic risk assessments and respond appropriately to emerging concerns.

Support client movements, driving, travel and other protection duties as required.

Assist with event planning and the development and implementation of security plans.

Conduct residential patrols, security inspections and access control duties.





Monitor CCTV, alarms and other security systems where required.

Work collaboratively with the broader security and operations team.

Build trusted and professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Participate in ongoing training and maintain operational fitness and readiness.

About You

Current NSW Security Licence.

Current Driver Licence with a robust driving record.

Experience in close protection, family protection, residential security or private client security.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion.

Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making.

Ability to assess and respond to security risks dynamically.

Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in changing environments.

Calm and effective under pressure.

Well presented with a client-focused approach.

Flexible and receptive to roster changes, travel and on-request taskings.

Preference will be given to candidates with Defence, Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Close Protection or specialist security backgrounds. Applicants with experience supporting private clients, families, residences, travel or events are strongly encouraged to apply.
