About The Role!
A key member of the Marketing & Communications team, the Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality video, audio and multimedia content that supports the Guild's communications, advocacy, campaigns, member engagement and strategic priorities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative skilled who thrives behind the camera, in the editing suite and in the studio. Working within the Digital and Creative Solutions stream, you'll create engaging content across video, podcasts, websites, mobile applications and social media channels. You'll also play a key role in managing production activities within the Guild's studio and helping bring stories, campaigns and initiatives to life through compelling multimedia content.
No two days will be the same. One day you may be filming interviews, capturing content at a conference or producing a podcast episode, and the next you'll be creating digital assets, editing video or collaborating with stakeholders to deliver creative solutions for organisational priorities.
This role is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at the Guild's National Secretariat in Barton, ACT
About You!
- You are a creative storyteller with a passion for video, audio and multimedia production.
- You have demonstrated experience producing professional video and audio content from concept through to final delivery.
- You are confident filming, editing and publishing content across a range of digital platforms and formats.
- You have experience producing podcasts and are comfortable managing recording, editing and post-production activities.
- You are technically capable and experienced using cameras, lighting, audio equipment and professional editing software.
- You enjoy building relationships with stakeholders and turning ideas into engaging visual and audio content.
- You are highly organised, solutions-focused and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Most importantly, you have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your capability across video, audio and multimedia production.

The following work experience / knowledge would be desirable / is required:
- Demonstrated experience producing professional video and audio content.
- Experience filming, editing and publishing multimedia content across digital platforms.
- Experience producing podcasts, including recording, editing and post-production.
- Experience operating cameras, lighting, audio equipment and studio technology.
- Experience managing end-to-end content production workflows.
- Strong understanding of digital content formats and audience engagement.
- Experience using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro or similar.
- Experience working within a membership, advocacy, healthcare or not-for-profit environment (desirable).

Qualifications
The following qualifications are essential for this position:
- Demonstrated portfolio of video, audio and multimedia production work.
- Tertiary qualifications in Film & Television, Digital Media, Multimedia Production, Media, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline (desirable)
- Relevant certifications in video production, editing, audio production or digital content creation (desirable).
