The role offers an prospect to lead specialist psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents with complex developmental, behavioural and emotional needs, while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, family-centred care.

Key responsibilities

- Reporting to the Child Development Services Manager, you will provide clinical leadership in the assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental presentations.
- You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, evidence-based care, while also providing supervision and support to junior and less experienced staff.
- Providing specialist clinical psychology assessment,



diagnostic and consultation services for children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental needs.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to support timely diagnosis, prognosis and evidence-based treatment recommendations for referred paediatric clients.

What you need

- To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate extensive experience in paediatric clinical psychology and specialist expertise in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
- A degree qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and current general registration as a Psychologist.
- Clinical Psychology Area of Practice Endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia.
