As an AHP3 Senior Clinical Practitioner, you will manage a complex clinical caseload, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service improvement within a leading tertiary hospital workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director, the senior clinical practitioner works as a specialist member of the multidisciplinary team, providing a direct clinical service which includes assessments of infants, children and young people and their families' following allegations of abuse and neglect.
- Providing a specialist clinical service which includes parenting, forensic and/or therapeutic assessment of children and their parents where allegations of abuse and neglect have been raised.
- Liaising with Emergency Department, Paediatric and Neonatal services in a hospital setting.
- Providing clinical supervision and quality assurance in relation to APH2 staff assessments, report writing and therapeutic interventions.
What you need
- For an appointment as a Social Worker an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- For appointment as a psychologist an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- For appointment as a Clinical Psychologist an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia within an Endorsed Areas of Practice.
