We are currently seeking experienced Functional Automation Testers to join a major Australian Government digital transformation program.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – flexible office / work-from-home

The successful candidate will join an established testing practice supporting digital transformation initiatives.

The role focuses on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse , along with associated business processes.

You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing , helping ensure business solutions are reliable, user-friendly and fit for purpose.

- Design, develop, execute and maintain automated regression test suites
- Perform both UI and API/integration testing
- Conduct functional, system, integration, regression and UAT testing
- Analyse requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios
- Validate end-to-end business processes
- Identify, document and manage defects
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Azure DevOps and up-to-date testing/development tools
- Quickly understand new business processes, applications and technologies
- Manage testing activities across multiple projects and competing priorities
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions

- API Management-fronted APIs

DevOps & Delivery

- Source control
- Test management and reporting
- Demonstrated experience testing Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience across manual and automated testing
- Proven experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly between projects, technologies, testing phases and business domains
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- ISTQB Automation Certification or similar
- In-depth experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power BI
- Experience with server-side/plugin logic and environment configuration
- Experience validating API Management policies
- Experience with Jira or similar test and defect management tools

Canberra-based candidates are preferred.
