Executive Assistant (Targeted)

Remuneration: $102,936 - $113,579, plus Superannuation

About the role
As the Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Executive Director in the Centre for Aboriginal Health. The role goes beyond traditional administrative tasks and often involves coordinating priorities, managing relationships, and supporting the Executive Director to operate efficiently. As the Executive Assistant you will also work closely with the Executive Officer.

What you will be doing
- Coordination of Branch administrative support to meet critical timelines
- Deliver a comprehensive range of administrative support functions, including diary and meeting management, routine databases, secretariat support to committees, photocopying, document production, compilation and distribution and maintenance of office equipment.
- Receive, assess and manage telephone enquiries from internal and external callers, including requests for meetings, and note required follow up
- Review and manage correspondence for signature by the Executive Director, correcting for quality, and/ or seeking additional information or clarification from the author if necessary
- Draft and prepare general correspondence, reports and submissions
- Produce business activity reports
- Train and support other staff in the application of business processes and technologies.
About you
We are seeking a motivated and committed individual who can support the work of the Executive Director with:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative to anticipate issues and identify practical solutions.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant (or similar) supporting Executive leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks at a senior administrative support level while managing competing work priorities and workflow with allocated resources.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
