In this role, you will lead and support team members while contributing to strategic safety initiatives and continuous improvement across Council.

Key responsibilities

- As a senior WHS practitioner, you will confidently engage with stakeholders across the organisation to provide practical, solutions-focused safety advice and education.
- You’ll play a key role in interpreting legislation, setting explicit expectations, and fostering a positive, proactive safety culture.
- Partnering closely with directorates, you’ll drive meaningful safety and wellbeing outcomes through best practice approaches.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of contemporary safety strategies and initiatives.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar senior WHS or safety partnering role.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence safety outcomes.
