About the Role
Join MMAL's Vehicle Operations team and help support retail and fleet sales performance across Australia. Working with a range of stakeholders, you'll analyse sales data, identify trends and opportunities, and help turn information into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.
This role is ideal for an analytically minded skilled who enjoys working with people as much as data. You'll work closely with Regional Sales teams and internal stakeholders, helping them understand performance results, identify opportunities and make informed decisions. Along the way, you'll build your commercial capability while contributing to key sales planning initiatives and business improvement projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyse retail and fleet sales performance and identify key trends and opportunities
- Prepare and present reports,
insights and observations to support decision-making
- Work closely with Regional Sales teams to understand performance drivers and business needs
- Assist with dealer engagement initiatives, including reward and recognition programs
- Support sales planning activities, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the ongoing development of reporting tools, processes and business insights
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in an analytical, sales support or commercial reporting role, interpreting data and identifying actionable insights
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to spot trends and opportunities
- Confidence communicating data and insights to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way
- A relationship-focused approach, with the ability to build credibility across sales and business teams
- Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI, SAP or Cognos highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience using Excel, Power BI, SAP or similar platforms to analyse data, automate reporting and identify process improvement opportunities, including the use of AI‑enabled tools
