Key responsibilities

- You will also play an important role in providing operational guidance, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to the capability of the broader legal team.
- As a Lawyer, you will work across routine to moderately complex legal matters, providing practical advice and supporting the Department’s commercial, procurement, contract management and corporate activities.
- You will draft and negotiate contracts, support commercial transactions, assist with identifying and managing legal risks, and undertake legal research.
- You will also work closely with senior lawyers, gaining valuable exposure to more complex matters and opportunities to develop your legal expertise.

- You will be comfortable working with stakeholders, managing competing priorities and applying sound legal judgement to achieve outcomes that support the Department’s objectives.
- This role is based at 246 Vincent St Leederville.
- We are looking for lawyers who are practical, team-oriented and solutions-focused, with strong communication and legal drafting skills.
