This role may require physically demanding activities including heavy lifting, prolonged standing and work in restricted or awkward environments.
Key responsibilities
- This is an chance to join a purpose-driven team responsible for ensuring fleet assets are safe, reliable, compliant and operationally ready to support both day-to-day activities and emergency response operations.
- You will work closely with operational teams, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders to improve asset performance, maintenance planning, lifecycle management and fleet readiness across Victoria.
- As a Senior Asset Officer, you will contribute to strengthening asset management practices by developing asset class plans, monitoring performance, managing compliance requirements and supporting evidence-based decision making.
- You will also lead a small team and play a key role in delivering continuous improvement initiatives across the fleet portfolio.
What you need
- a relevant degree, diploma or trade qualification.
- a current driver's licence and willingness to obtain higher class licences if required.
- a forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one if required.
