Job Description

Why You’ll Love This Role

You will help expand and enhance the City’s urban forest through meaningful tree planting programs and greening initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to combine project delivery, stakeholder engagement, design and environmental outcomes while making a visible impact across local communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Develop street and park tree programs
- Prepare planting plans and specifications
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate contractors and internal work crews
- Create and monitor watering and tree establishment programs
- Engage residents on planting initiatives
- Maintain spatial mapping and tree records

We’re looking for a project-focused urban forest professional who is passionate about creating greener communities. You'll ideally bring:

- Certificate III Arboriculture or transferable qualification such as Horticulture
- Strong tree planting project experience




- Spatial mapping and GIS system skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation
- Project budgeting and cost estimation capability
- Contract supervision and quality assurance experience
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Current driver license and safety focus
