This role will see you coordinate road safety reviews, triage and coordinate speed zone reviews, provide safety advice to stakeholders, lead partnerships across Transport programs, respond to customer enquiries, and analyse customer data to inform decision-making and safety improvements.

Key responsibilities

- You will lead community safety outcomes in a complex environment balancing diverse community expectations, strategic safety priorities, emerging safety issues and competing stakeholder interests.
- This role will be based in the West region, working in our Central Precinct.
- This role is hybrid friendly meaning flexible work options are available.

What you need

- You bring strong road safety and/or behavioural knowledge and experience in safety assessments,



investigations and stakeholder engagement.
- You are a collaborative communicator who can analyse data, provide sound advice and build effective relationships with councils, government agencies and community stakeholders to deliver positive community safety outcomes.
- You have robust analytical and communication skills, expertise in evidence gathering, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution, and the ability to interpret policies and functions to provide high-quality support and advice.
