As our client's team based in Townsville is growing, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Fitter for a project.

n

The successful applicant will have a high regard for quality, safety and communication and customer relation skills. You will be exposed to a range of opportunities to develop your skills within a highly supportive team-based environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

n

n
- Carrying out a range of mechanical works on fixed and mobile process equipment
n
- Assemble spooling and mechanical components including valves and instruments to the required standard
n
- Maintenance tasks, inspections and warranty repairs
n
- Ensure equipment is maintained to industry and regulatory requirements
n




- Assist with fabrication works
n
- Monitor and ensure all quality standards are met.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Construction Card
n
- Experience with structural steel install
n
- Structural steel and piping experience
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and written documentation, including Isometric and PID's
n
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
- Ability to comply with the SELECT and common industry "Fitness for Work" policies
