About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a quick-paced hospitality environment. As Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our bar service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and supporting our team to deliver outstanding hospitality.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising and managing bar operations during your shifts, ensuring efficient and quality service delivery

Preparing and serving beverages to the highest standard, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks

Training and supporting bar staff to ensure consistency in service quality and product knowledge

Managing cash handling and till reconciliation with accuracy and integrity

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area,



including stock rotation and equipment maintenance

Ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol (RSA) legislation and venue policies

Monitoring and controlling stock levels, placing orders as required

Creating a welcoming atmosphere and responding professionally to customer inquiries and concerns

Assisting with promotional activities and special events

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience working in a bar or hospitality environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory or lead hand experience

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails and mixing techniques

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Ability to lead, motivate and communicate effectively with team members

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A passion for hospitality and commitment to creating positive guest experiences
