The role applies advanced knowledge of training frameworks and operational requirements to solve complex capability and workforce development challenges at a unit and regional level.
Key responsibilities
- The role works with stakeholders to identify training gaps and implement targeted plans to strengthen capability and enhance operational capability at identified units.
- The position requires frequent regional travel, including overnight stays, and weeknight and weekend delivery to effectively engage with units.
- Operating with a high level of professionalism and technical expertise, the RVDT works closely with the Operations Manager Learning & Development, Operations Officer – Lead Trainer (OO-LT), and Unit Support Teams to deliver competency-based training programs and skills maintenance activities.
