As part of the Victorian Systemic Review into Family Violence Deaths (VSRFVD), you will play a critical role in reviewing family violence-related deaths, identifying systemic issues, and helping shape recommendations that drive lasting change across Victoria's service system.
Key responsibilities
- As a Family Violence Case Investigator, you will undertake complex analysis of coronial information, research and evidence to support coroners in their investigations.
- Working within the CPU Family Violence Team, you will identify contributing factors, emerging themes and opportunities for prevention, helping inform recommendations that strengthen Victoria's response to family violence and reduce the risk of future deaths.
- Review and analyse complex coronial materials relating to suspected family violence-related deaths.
- Provide high-quality written and verbal advice to coroners based on evidence, research and critical analysis.
What you need
- You are an analytical and highly skilled skilled with experience in family violence, research, investigations, policy, social services, justice, or a related field.
- You are comfortable working with complex and sensitive material and can translate detailed evide.
