We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Gardener / Cremator Operator to join our team at Woongarra Crematorium and Memorial Gardens. This unique role combines the maintenance of beautifully presented memorial grounds with the respectful operation of cremation services. About the Role

Working both independently and as part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining our grounds to a high standard while ensuring all cremation activities are carried out with professionalism, care, and strict adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain lawns, gardens, ponds, and memorial areas to a high standard.

- Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.

- Ensure all grounds remain clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors.





- Prepare and operate cremation equipment in accordance with all operational and regulatory requirements.

- Handle cremated remains with the highest level of care, respect, and attention to detail.

- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of cremator facilities and observation areas.

- Prepare chapel and service areas prior to funerals and memorial services.

- Assist with general site presentation and maintenance duties as required.
