ADDIL group PTY LTD, trading as Addil Chicken Farm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Poultry Farm Manager to join our farming operation in Addil chicken farm 995 Richardson Road, Campvale NSW-2318. This is an opportunity for a hands-on agricultural professional with practical experience in poultry production, livestock management, farm operations and team supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily farm activities, maintaining flock health and welfare, managing resources and supporting efficient and productive poultry operations.

Key responsibilities

Coordinating poultry breeding, rearing and production activities to maintain healthy flocks and meet planned production targets.

Monitoring flock health, growth, behaviour and general condition while implementing appropriate husbandry and welfare practices.

Managing feeding programs and ensuring consistent access to suitable feed, clean water and appropriate nutritional resources.

Organising flock movements and adjusting housing or feeding arrangements to support efficient utilisation of available farm facilities.

Coordinating routine poultry handling, catching, processing preparation, collection and the grading, packing and storage of farm produce where applicable.

Overseeing the upkeep of poultry sheds, pens, cages and other farm facilities, including cleaning, sanitation, pest management and general maintenance.

Inspecting and maintaining farm equipment, fencing, water systems, feeding equipment, ventilation systems and other operational infrastructure.

Coordinating the procurement,



storage and use of feed, veterinary supplies, equipment and other agricultural resources.

Maintaining accurate records of flock numbers, production performance, feed usage, mortality, health treatments, inventory and other farm activities.

Recruiting, training, allocating duties to and supervising farm employees, contractors and seasonal workers as required.

About you

Demonstrated experience managing poultry farm or livestock production operations.

Strong knowledge of poultry husbandry, flock health, feeding and biosecurity practices.

Experience supervising farm workers and coordinating daily agricultural activities.

Ability to operate, inspect and maintain farm equipment and facilities.

Strong organisational, record-keeping and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and make practical decisions in a farm environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with employees, suppliers, contractors and customers.

A strong commitment to animal welfare, workplace safety and maintaining high farm standards.
