We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered and Clinical Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where you will provide high quality care to critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

- Providing direct person-centred nursing care and individual case management to patients on a shift-by-shift basis in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Assessing clinical status of patients and providing appropriate ICU therapies in collaboration with ICU multi-disciplinary team.
- Providing support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff and student nurses providing nursing care.
- Providing health promotion and education, to patients and carers to improve the health outcomes of the individual.

What you need

- The Environment: You will thrive in a energetic, fast-paced environment requiring you to be adaptable and agile to respond to operational changes.
- To be a qualified ICU nurses or have 2-3 years of acute care nursing in the Australian Healthcare system looking to commence ICU specialisation.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holds a current practicing certificate.
