We are seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Practice Manager to lead our reception and administration team and ensure the smooth day to day operation of our busy general practice.

The Practice Manager will oversee all non-clinical operations, including staff management, regulatory compliance, business systems and patient services. This a hands on leadership role suited to someone who is motivated, solutions focused and passionate about supporting high-quality primary healthcare.

You will work closely with our GP’s and clinical team to maintain an efficient, positive and patient focused environment, while contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the practice.

What we're looking for:

- · Previous experience in a Practice Management or senior medical administration role is ESSENTIAL.
- · Strong leadership and people management skills.
- · Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- · Experience with practice management software (Best Practice is highly regarded).
- · Knowledge of Medicare, billing, accounts and general practice operations.
- · A professional, empathetic and approachable demeanour.
- · Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

- · Attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance and quality improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

- · Overseeing the day to day operations of the practice.
- · Management and supporting the reception and administration team.
- · Billing, reconciliation and financial reporting.
- · Ensuring compliance with RACGP standards, Medicare requirements and other regulatory bodies.
- · Implementing and maintaining practice policies, procedures and systems.
- · Liaising with GP’s, staff, patients and external providers.
- · Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- · Supporting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
