K'gari Beach Houses is looking for a dependable couple to join us as Resident Managers at our beach house complex in Eurong Second Valley.

The roles would particularly suit a couple with complementary skills:

Reception & Housekeeping – ideally someone with hospitality, reception or customer service experience who is organised, comfortable with computers and confident dealing with guests.

Caretaking, Maintenance & Housekeeping – ideally someone hands-on and mechanically minded, with trade, maintenance or caretaking experience highly regarded.

Previous resort management experience is advantageous but isn't essential for the right couple .

What you'll be doing

Between the two roles, your responsibilities will include:

- Reception, bookings, emails and guest check-ins

- Providing friendly and helpful guest service

- Changeover cleaning of beach houses

- Coordinating and supervising our small cleaning team

- Daily property and essential infrastructure checks

- Pool and communal BBQ maintenance

- General repairs and preventative maintenance

- Gardens, grounds and common-area maintenance

Housekeeping is a major part of BOTH roles , so both applicants must be happy to roll up their sleeves and clean. On a typical day, the two managers will work together to clean two houses .

Hours & lifestyle

This is a full time position working six days per week, with one day off each week .

Work generally begins around 8:00am. While a full day can run until 5:00pm, on many days the majority of scheduled tasks are completed by around 2:30pm. Hours vary depending on occupancy, cleaning, maintenance and guest arrivals,



with weekends often involving reduced hours.

As Resident Managers, you'll also be available onsite for genuine after-hours emergencies.

K'gari is an incredible place to live, but living here is very different from holidaying here . You'll need to enjoy being independent and be comfortable with the realities of living in a remote location.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a couple who are:

- Dependable, proactive and able to work independently

- Friendly and confident dealing with guests

- Happy to get their hands dirty

- Physically comfortable with regular housekeeping

- Calm and practical when problems arise

- Comfortable with computers - particularly for the reception role

- Hands-on or mechanically minded - particularly for the caretaker role

- Looking for a genuine lifestyle change

Previous hospitality, housekeeping, accommodation, maintenance, trade or caretaking experience will be highly regarded.

Applicants require current driver's licences, Australian working rights and a Police Check . First Aid qualifications and 4WD experience are advantageous but not essential.

The package

$106,000 combined salary + superannuation

Plus:

- FREE furnished private 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom accommodation

- Full kitchen, laundry and balcony

- Electricity and gas included

- Starlink internet included

- Shared staff 4WD available for work and personal use

- Four weeks annual leave

The private managers' residence occupies the entire upper level of the house. A separate self-contained one-bedroom apartment downstairs is used by additional cleaning staff.

Please note: pets cannot be brought to K'gari.
