Key responsibilities
- As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will promote the protected, rational, and cost-effective use of medicines through the provision and coordination of clinical pharmacy services, including monitoring patients' medication profiles, delivering expert drug information, and participating in teaching, training, and research activities.
- You will also play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient safety and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and service delivery.
- The successful candidate will provide expert clinical pharmacy support, collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, mentor junior staff,
and contribute to the ongoing development of pharmacy services.
What you need
- Practice must be maintained in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, Codes and Guidelines, including the Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners, as well as SMHS policies and procedures.
- Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist and possess unrestricted working rights in Australia, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- A statement addressing the suitability criteria, and specifically the Essential Criteria in the JDF in no more than 2-3 pages.
