This is an exciting prospect to provide technical leadership, guide a skilled electrical maintenance team, and play a key role in improving reliability, safety and performance across our Murarrie Manufacturing Site.
Working as part of a team of four electricians, you will support breakdown response, planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities across an 8-hour rotating shift pattern covering day, afternoon and night shift. The role also includes an on-call requirement of approximately 1 in 9 weeks, with occasional overtime and weekend work as operational needs require.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership and technical direction to the electrical maintenance team.
- Lead electrical maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with relevant electrical regulations, site standards and safety requirements.
- Plan, prioritise and delegate breakdown, planned maintenance and improvement activities to support operational performance.
- Drive plant electrical reliability, automation and control system performance.
- Lead root cause analysis,
preventive maintenance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and mentor tradespeople and apprentices, supporting competency development and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records, drawings, PLC documentation and change records.
- Partner with engineering, production teams, suppliers and contractors to deliver maintenance and project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing, food production or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, prioritise work and lead others in a busy operational environment.
- Proficiency using a CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance history and asset information.
- Experience with drying, milling, powder handling, extrusion, wet processing or packing equipment will be highly regarded.
- PLC programming knowledge would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities plant, boilers, refrigeration, air handling and effluent treatment plants would be beneficial.
