For this role you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants you the work rights necessary for the role.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-level, advanced clinical Occupational Therapy services, assessing patients’ occupational needs through standardised and/or functional assessments and designing and implementing patient-centred interventions across inpatient Aged Care services.
- Lead the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting of Occupational Therapy services, working closely with the Occupational Therapy Manager to support effective clinical service delivery.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical care team, contributing to ward rounds, clinical team meetings, working parties and multidisciplinary planning, quality and research activities as required.




- Drive evidence-based practice and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance clinical services, policies, work practices and standards, and contributing to clinical research and quality improvement activities.

What you need

- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current Australian Occupational Therapy Registration (AHPRA), and a current unrestricted NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Post-graduate experience in acute and/or sub-acute hospital settings, with experience working in Aged Care and across other inpatient Acute Care settings.
- Experience in advanced clinical management, with the ability to apply clinical reasoning skills and independent qualified judgement to routine and complex matters.
