Key responsibilities

- Lead and develop your team: Supervise, mentor and build the capability of scientific and technical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Drive continuous improvement: Monitor workflow, turnaround times and KPIs while identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and overall laboratory performance.

What you need

- For this role you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants you the work rights necessary for the role.
- Experienced Histology leader: Bring a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) and at least 3 years’ experience in a Histology Laboratory Supervisor or equivalent leadership role.
- Hands-on Histology expertise: Have solid practical and theoretical knowledge of histotechnology, with confidence working across Histology bench areas and supporting day-to-day laboratory operations.
