About The Role

Safe Inspect is seeking a skilled Gasfitter/Maintenance Plumber to join our team in Geelong, Victoria. This full-time opportunity will see you play a vital role in maintaining and servicing residential and commercial properties in the local area and conducting Gas Safety Checks across the Geelong/Bellarine and Surf Coast regions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of plumbing systems and gas appliances
- Carrying out Gas Safety Checks on residential properties
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing and gas issues to identify and rectify the problem
- Installing, testing and commissioning new plumbing and gas systems
- Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality, efficient service
- Complying with all relevant safety standards and regulations
- Maintaining detailed records and job reports
- Supporting the broader team as required
- Options for 24/7 callouts with extra incentives





What We're Looking For

- Formal qualifications in plumbing and gasfitting, including a current plumbing licence and gas fitting licence
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a qualified plumber, with a strong background in maintenance and repair work
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Robust customer service orientation and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality work standards
- Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
