MACKAY, QUEENSLAND 4740 PERMANENT FULL TIME ANNUAL SALARY:
$76,515.00 TO $88,000.00 HMA Group Pty Ltd is seeking an
experienced and reliable Industrial Tiler to join our onsite team.
This role is focused on heavy industry and mining environments,
delivering specialised tiling and lining solutions for plant,
equipment, and infrastructure. This position involves working in
operational sites, shutdowns, and maintenance environments where
durability, safety, and precision are critical. RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform industrial tiling and lining works on-site across mining
and processing facilities Ensure all work complies with site safety
requirements and industry standards Interpret drawings, scopes, and
work instructions to deliver accurate outcomes Work collaboratively
with supervisors, trades, and site personnel Maintain high
standards of housekeeping and site compliance TASKS Surface
preparation including grinding, cleaning, and priming of substrates
Installation of industrial tiles, wear-resistant linings, and
protective systems Cutting and fitting tiles/materials to suit
chutes, tanks, floors, and structures Application of specialised
adhesives, grouts, and compounds suited to industrial use Repair,




replacement, and maintenance of worn or damaged tiling/lining
systems Working in shutdown and maintenance environments under
strict timeframes QUALIFICATIONS Certificate III in Wall and Floor
Tiling or equivalent (preferred) Current industry tickets (e.g.
White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space – desirable) Minimum
2–3 years' experience in industrial or heavy-duty tiling/lining
applications SKILLS Strong understanding of industrial environments
and site safety requirements Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and scopes of work High attention to detail and
commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work effectively under
pressure in shutdown conditions Strong teamwork and communication
skills EXPERIENCE / EXPERTISE Experience in mining, processing
plants, or heavy industrial environments Knowledge of
wear-resistant materials, linings, and protective systems
Experience with epoxy systems, industrial adhesives, and
specialised grouts Ability to work autonomously and within
structured site teams Familiarity with Australian safety and
operational standards ANNUAL SALARY: $76,515.00 TO
$88,000.00
