This is your opportunity to work at ECQ and support the commission to deliver across the key function of delivering the 2028 State and local government elections.

As a member of the Election Event Management Team, you will contribute to the delivery of ECQ’s functions as a modern and professional statutory authority. The role supports the team and the broader organisation to respond to key drivers shaping ECQ’s future, including changing demographics, emerging technologies, evolving community expectations, and opportunities for continuous business improvement.

Your Contribution

- Conduct elections for state registered industrial organisations in accordance with the relevant rules and legislation.
- Participate within a team environment in an effective and team-oriented manner, establishing and communicating project priorities to meet workload demands and deadlines.
- Be responsible for the planning and delivery of election projects within allocated timeframes to include current data, future planning and strategy.




- Participate in the preparations for and conduct of elections in line with legislative requirements.
- Engage with and develop strong working relationships with major stakeholders including government departments, contracted suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate skills and ability in the use of computer-based operational systems and office technology.
- Demonstrate well developed levels of oral and written communications skills.
- Contribute to team cohesiveness, wellbeing and capability through participation in establishing a positive environment, respectful of the views of others across the HR team and broader ECQ workforce.
- Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
