Branyan Early Learning Centre is looking for Educators to join our growing team.

Some early childhood services are designed to look impressive to adults. At Branyan, we’ve worked hard to create a place that feels meaningful for children.

Families often describe our service as warm, welcoming and nurturing. One family recently shared that when they toured Branyan, they could feel that children had a voice here. They noticed that our environments were not clinical or styled for adults. They felt thoughtful, lived-in and created for children.

Branyan ELC is an 89-place service located in the Branyan community, directly opposite the local primary school and surrounded by native trees. We value relationships, play, community connection and children’s right to be active participants in their own learning.

Our service looks beyond standard catalogue resources and intentionally sources from local and small businesses where possible. We want our learning environments to feel interesting, meaningful and connected to the children who use them each day.

Community is a big part of who we are. Children are supported to connect with the world beyond our gates through local school-readiness connections, routine school library visits, weekly music sessions, dental visits, community projects and celebrations shaped around the families in our care.

About the Role

The successful applicant will Be part of our growing Team and Service supporting Children and Families within the service . We have both Lead and Support educator roles available.

This role would suit an Educator who enjoys noticing the small moments that matter. A child’s question, a friendship challenge, an outdoor discovery or a shared interest can often become the beginning of a meaningful learning journey.

At Branyan, the Early Childhood Educators are trusted to lead.



The successful applicant will have autonomy over programming, environments and curriculum decisions, while being supported by our paper-based documentation approach.

At Branyan, school-readiness is not simply about letters, numbers or ticking off a checklist. We believe children need lifelong skills such as emotional regulation, problem solving, independence, communication, flexible thinking and confidence.

What Support Looks Like

Our director and 2IC are present every day and actively involved in the life of the centre. They’re with children, supporting educators, speaking with families and noticing what’s happening across the service.

We also have an Educational Leader who works across four days, providing mentoring, qualified conversation and practical support.

Non-contact time is protected and actively supported by management. Educators are encouraged to use that time in the way that supports them best, whether that’s professional discussion with colleagues or space to work without interruption.

The Successful Applicant Will Bring

- A Cert 111 or Diploma of Early Education
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR certification, including HLTAID012
- Availability Monday to Friday
- An understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and early childhood pedagogy
- Confidence with planning, documentation, assessment and family communication
- A warm, reflective and professional approach
