We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Store person to join our Brisbane team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of all warehouse and freight activities. This includes receipting, inventory control, picking and packing, dispatch coordination, and mobile plant operation, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with MST’s Safety First and Always culture.

You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting internal stakeholders such as Service and Engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with our Brisbane Traffic Management Plan (TMP) to maintain a safe working environment for staff, couriers, and visitors.

This is a highly practical and autonomous role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and contributing to a well-run warehouse operation.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and reconcile inbound goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Accurately record and manage stock movements within MST’s ERP system.
- Ensure correct labelling, storage, and location control of inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for domestic and international dispatch.
- Prepare consignment documentation and coordinate with freight providers.
- Support stocktakes and ongoing cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and authorised mobile plant in accordance with licensing requirements and site safety procedures.
- Complete and document daily pre-start checks for forklifts and equipment.
- Ensure courier vehicles utilise designated loading zones and comply with site traffic requirements.
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic as required to minimise interaction risks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and freight operations.

About You

You are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. You take ownership of your responsibilities and are confident operating within structured safety and traffic management environments.

You will bring:

- A current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (mandatory).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or standalone storeperson role.
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory and freight management.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with stocktake and inventory control processes.
- The ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive safety mindset and strong hazard awareness.
- Clear communication skills and confidence in directing traffic wherever required.
- International freight and/or Dangerous Goods experience (desirable).
- Cert IV in Logistics or similar qualification (advantageous).
