A professional automotive repair workshop in NSW is seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter who takes pride in producing a high-quality finish. The role is suited to a tradesperson who can confidently manage different types of vehicle refinishing work, from smaller repairs through to larger restoration and accident-damage jobs.

Key Responsibilities 12 Items

- Assess surfaces and determine appropriate preparation requirements
n
- Prepare panels and vehicle surfaces for refinishing
n
- Carry out sanding, masking, priming and preparation
n
- Mix and apply automotive paint and clear coats
n
- Complete small and large paint repairs
n
- Achieve accurate colour matching and consistent finishes
n
- Use Glasurit paint products and systems
n
- Inspect completed work for defects and imperfections
n
- Rectify finishing issues where required
n
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment
n
- Work closely with the wider repair team
n

- Qualified Automotive Spray Painter

- Relevant hands-on experience in the vehicle repair industry

- Competent in small and large-scale repairs

- Strong understanding of automotive refinishing techniques

- Experience with professional paint systems
