Cootamundra Toyota is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and confident with administration, and is interested in building a career in automotive sales.

Working closely with our Sales Manager, you'll support all areas of the sales process, from helping customers find their next vehicle through to sales administration, customer follow-up, and assisting with finance and insurance applications.

About the role

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting customers with enquiries for new and used vehicles.
n
- Supporting the Sales Manager with customer follow-up and the sales process.
n
- Sales administration tasks.
n
- Assisting customers with finance and insurance applications.
n
- Following up with customers throughout and after their vehicle purchase.
n
- Helping ensure customers receive a great experience from their first enquiry through to vehicle delivery.
n
- Providing general support to the Cootamundra Sales team as required.
n

No sales experience? No problem.

n

We're happy to train the right person. You don't need previous automotive sales or finance experience - what's more important to us is your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to provide great customer service.

A structured training period will form part of the role and will be conducted at our Wagga Wagga dealership . Applicants must therefore be available to travel to Wagga Wagga during the initial training period. Ongoing training and support will also be provided as you develop in the role.

What we're looking for

To be successful, you'll need:

- Great communication and customer service skills
n
- A friendly, professional and confident approach
n
- Good organisation and attention to detail
n
- Confidence using computers and learning new systems
n
- A willingness to learn about vehicles, finance, insurance and the automotive sales process
n
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a small dealership team
n
- A current driver's licence (with the ability to confidently drive a manual vehicle)
n

Previous experience in customer service, administration, retail, or sales would be an advantage, but is not essential .
