Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.

We are now inviting applications for a Boarding Operations Administrator. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to coordinate a diverse range of events, and operational tasks in Boarding.

The role:

Work during term time only. Monday - Thursday 1:30pm to 7:30pm, and Friday 10:30am - 5:00pm.

Manage boarding systems, records, databases, permissions, leave processes, and student movement procedures, ensuring compliance, governance, and safeguarding obligations.

First point of contact for operational matters, and coordinate boarding communications, newsletters, notices, forms, and updates.

Oversee inventory management and operational resources for the boarding precinct.

Work with the Boarding Leadership Team to create engaging experiences that strengthen community connection and belonging.

Coordinate logistics for all events including orientation programs, National Boarding Week, formal dinners, graduation, parent functions, and other community activities.

Contribute to the boarding environment to ensure they remain safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose.

Implement procedures that ensure the compliance with the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) National Boarding Standards and all relevant legislative requirements.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, identify and project manage key initiatives, ensuring that IT solutions are implemented where applicable, and boarding experience is benefitted.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role or a senior administrative/operations role

Proficiency in using productivity tools, office software, and communication platforms.

a Catholic teaching order established by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat in France in 1800.

The Convent of the Sacred Heart, Rose Bay, was founded in 1882. Kincoppal was established at Elizabeth Bay in 1909. The two schools were amalgamated in 1971 to become Kincoppal – Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart.

Our original building was a private home called Claremont which was built in 1851. It was first leased in 1882 and later purchased by the Society of the SacredHeart.

The school's first permanent building was completed in 1888. Our Chapel, designed by architect John Horbury Hunt, was completed in 1900. Since that time, more buildings have been added to meet the needs of our growing school community.

Our primary school was located in the main school building until 1951, when an adjoining property (an Italian villa) was purchased. This was demolished in 1966 and replaced with the present junior school.

The Senior School was a full boarding school until the 1960s when day students were admitted.
