In this role, you'll:

Complete work activities in line with quality standards by following established procedures, conducting inspections and maintaining accurate records.

You'll solve routine issues, collaborate with supervisors on more complex matters, and work both independently and as part of a team to achieve project outcomes. You'll also maintain safe work practices, follow environmental procedures, and build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and the wider community.

This is a hands-on, Workshop role that involves working in a high-traffic environment and undertaking physically demanding work. You will also be required to travel to various workshop locations quarterly when required, with accommodation and Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) provided.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting Workshop Supervisors maintain workshop legal compliance.
- Conducting field-based inspections.
- Travelling throughout the region to attend workshops, update displayed documentation & maintain all record keeping.




- Identifying and resolving routine operational issues using established procedures and guidelines.
- Contributing to the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of Fleet maintenance and infrastructure programs.
- Maintain all Workshops Legislative inspections & WHS inspections.

Through your work, you will play an significant role in delivering safer workshops.

This is a fixed term opportunity until December 2027 (With possible Extension), based in either Broken Hill, Dubbo, Tamworth or Parkes, and successful applicants must reside within a 100km radius of their Works Depot.

You have proven experience working independently and collaboratively with others. Key to your success in this role is your ability to think outside the box and positively influence others to achieve positive outcomes.

You are passionate about safety and quality assurance and have an attention to detail that is dedicated to the success of our final product. Technology is no issue as you are confident operating and adapting to various systems over your career.

Have an understanding of Legislative procedures and guidelines and ability in using literacy and numeracy skills to complete work records.

You have had experience in a SEQO or PQR role previously but not essential,



or industry equivalent and possess a valid in-date C Class driver licence and White Card.

You may be required to work outside normal working and must be prepared to travel to various work locations away from your base station.

- Current Construction Industry White Card.
- Must reside within 100km radius of the Works Depot
- Ability to work safely and effectively in high-speed, high-volume traffic environments.
- Be willing to travel to various work locations quarterly when required, with accommodation and Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) provided.
