We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School-Based Youth Support Officer to join our team supporting young people at Dakabin .

Location: Dakabin State High School
Part-Time Role - Tuesday & Wednesdays| 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Remuneration range: $47.63 - $51.25 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Employee discounts
Contract Maximum Term: approx. December 2027

About The Role:

In this significant role, you’ll support students throughevidence-based wellbeing programs and meaningful individual engagement that promotes participation, confidence, and growth.

As a Youth Support Officer, you will:

- Facilitate personal development programs to support student wellbeing and social skills
- Conduct one-on-one support sessions and help students set positive goals
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and assist with feedback to improve delivery
- Build strong partnerships with the school, families, and service providers
- Be a consistent, caring presence for students navigating challenges

About You:

- Experience supporting youth in education or community services
- Passionate about creating opportunities for young people to succeed
- Confident in program delivery and mentoring
- Organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills

Mandatory requirements:

- Positive Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- QLD Driver’s Licence
